Weight Loss
If you are having difficulty losing weight, you are dealing with either a metabolic problem (such as thyroid, insulin, or stress) or with an emotional issue-the need to tranquilize the anxiety of an unresolved emotional issue. You tell me, which one is it? Maybe it’s both?
Do you do everything right, all the time, and yet can’t lose weight? You eat right, you exercise, but you still can’t drop a pound? You may have a metabolic problem. Maybe it’s a problem metabolizing sugar (pancreas), or metabolizing fats (liver), or metabolizing stress (cortisol and the adrenal glands), or maybe you need to detoxify…your body is holding fat and water to store and dilute toxins (liver and kidneys).
Do you have trouble sticking to your menu, going walking or getting to the gym? Do you binge, feel guilty, and then binge again? Is your menu as up and down as your self esteem? You may have an emotional issue. It could be worse; you could abuse alcohol or take drugs, which is how many others tranquilize their emotional issues. Maybe you have no clue what it is that drives your behavior, but you know you aren’t doing the best you could be doing. A belief system could be holding you back (NET).
The metabolic problems are body chemistry issues, and we can help with those. There are supplements on the market that help with sugars or cortisol and other hormones, but how would you know which ones to take? You could do a liver cleanse/detox protocol, but how would you know where to go from there? I bet you have tried several or many programs, probably without the desired outcome. You need a game plan, and the one we design is based on body chemistry…your body chemistry! First, you need to check where you are. Start with the OPTICHEM blood and urine profile, to begin a true personalized approach to weight loss.
The emotional issues are belief systems, and we can help with those as well. You may have adopted a subconscious “truth” that you can’t lose weight or that if you did you would have to give up too much, people would expect something of you, you would lose something, you would feel unsafe, unprotected, or give up a friend. Answer these questions to see if you might have an emotional connection to weight:
- What does (weight loss, vibrant health) remind you of?
- When was the first time you can remember feeling that same way?
- If there were a deeper issue underlying your weight, what might it be?
- If you could live your life over again, what event would you prefer to skip?
What feelings does that event evoke?
- Finish the sentence:
If I weighed (ideal weight), the consequences would be…
In order to lose weight I would have to…
What I really want is…
Losing weight reminds me of…
- How “TRUE” does this feel:
I want someone to love me as I am, and then I will lose weight
Others in my family are overweight and so that is my destiny (genetics)
If I stopped eating (favorite food) it would be like losing a friend
- How do you feel when you say:
I can’t eat ________.
I weigh (goal weight).
I have solved my emotional link to weight.
NET might be the solution to your weight issues.
